La Maison Wedding Photography in Wodonga for Carly and Terry
It’s great when you get to shoot a wedding for an old friend and this one was just that. Carly and Terry chose La Maison on the causeway for their venue. The ceremony took place on the grass down near the Murray River. It’s a nice little spot surrounded by gum trees and nature. Drinks and finger food was served following the ceremony, allowing everyone to enjoy the location. We shot a few group family photos there before jumping in the cars and heading off. I had done a bit of scouting around the area and found some really nice locations across the road at Gateway Lakes. I found a little man-made beach area that we used for bridal party shots and their their bridal photos. It was a good chance for everyone to relax, have a bit of fun and a drink. We took the limos up to monument hill and I chose to use the scrub and bushland for some natural photos of Carly and Terry.
Back at La Maison, the bridal party was announced and the evening celebrations could begin. We had a few more group photos to finish off and then I took the chance to grab a few more of Carly in the nice late afternoon light.
The party started and everyone had a great night. Steve Bowen provided the music and entertainment and as always he got the guests up and dancing for a fun atmosphere. At the very end of the night, I shot a few night portraits for Carly and Terry to give them something unique.

Ryan is great!! He was so easy to get along with for our wedding day. He takes beautiful “unposed” natural photos. We were stoked with how quick we got our photos back.
We were also rapped that Ryan stayed for the reception and got some great action shots of our special night.
I highly recommend him. – Carly and Terry
