Natural Wedding Photography Albury Wodonga
This was a really great wedding to be part of. Here’s the Natural Wedding Photography from Jemma and Josh’s wedding down in the Lorne area.
I travelled down there to shoot their wedding and was happily surprised with the venue, King Parrot Cottages. Right out in the hills of the Otway National Park, this place was amazing!
I hadn’t had a chance to meet Jemma and Josh before the wedding so I drove down the day before and got invited to their pre-wedding BBQ. It was a nice chance to meet everyone and also showed what kind of warm and welcoming people they are.
The ceremony was set down a little track in a clearing in the bush. A little bar had been set up for drinks and later an ice-cream cart also arrived to cool the guests. (It was January after all!) The ceremony was really nice with lots of personalised touches, including their dog dressed in a little suit.
Family photos followed and then the bridal party photos. There were plenty of nice locations and the light was spot on. I kept the photos really relaxed as Jemma and Josh had asked for natural wedding photography. I kept it fun and got them to walk, talk, joke and laugh as they normally would.
At the reception the guests enjoyed a vintage caravan bar, lawn games, dancing and lots of booze!
I took the happy couple away for a few more photos in the afternoon. We didn’t get much of a sunset but it was a good chance for them to take a breather from the wedding. Again, I kept the photos really natural and just let them be themselves.
At the end of the night, we went out for one last photo. A night photo down by the dam just as something unique for them.

It was so beautiful to see so many of our friends from complete different walks of life laughing and dancing together as if they had known each other for years. -Jemma.
