I loved working with Megan and Sam. They were just the sort of no nonsense, no fuss people I work best with. After they’d had a bad experience with a wedding photographer at a friend’s wedding, I had a bit to prove. It’s funny, I’m always hearing horror stories about wedding photographers. Unfortunately it’s an industry with no regulation and literally anyone can pick up a camera and start charging. So if you’re planning a wedding and reading this, do your research and ask lots of questions! For more info, read this blog post ‘Questions to ask a wedding photographer‘.

Megan and Sam were great to work with and together we got some great shots. Fair to say their faith in wedding photographers was restored.

How the day panned out

The wedding venue was Peregrines function centre in Tabletop, just north of Albury. It’s such an amazing venue but I’ve heard it’s planning to close it’s doors. It’s a real shame if true as I loved shooting up there.

My day started out in Holbrook at Megan’s house for some nice relaxed prep photos. Sam and his mates were staying in a local hotel and I swung by there for an hour too. Right from the start, everyone was kind and welcoming and I knew it would be a good one.

Out at Peregrines, Megan surprised her guests by arriving by horse and coach. The ceremony was simple and filled with love with lots of tears all round. Ros Addison did a great job as celebrant.

We shot through the family photos before moving onto the portraits and bridal photos. The light coming through the trees was stunning. Perfect for photos! We had a great time and used the light to create lots of really nice shots. After a bumpy 4×4 ride up to the lookout, we finished it off at sunset with a beautiful view across Tabletop Mountain.

Peregrines Function Centre Wedding

I really do hope Peregrines stays open as it was a great wedding venue. The reception featured an amazing, huge fireplace behind the top table. There was lots of space for kids to run and play. The food was great and the views were even better! – Full Circle Photography -Wedding Photography Albury Wodonga.

Ryan is an absolutely amazing photographer. We had lost faith in photographers after my sister’s wedding was not captured at all (Canberra photographer). Ryan definitely restored our faith and went above and beyond. Not only with his photographs but his approach. He would help out with questions about absolutely anything and was so organised that the day flowed beautifully. I would highly recommend Ryan again and again! -Megan
