St Edwards of the Riverina Wedding Photography for Lindsay and Nathan

Late last year I travelled to Wagga for the wedding of Lindsay and Nathan. Their venue of choice was St Edwards of the Riverina. It’s a little oasis of lush landscaped gardens in the middle of farmland and it’s full of character.

My day started with getting ready photos at Lindsay’s house where everyone was very relaxed. But it was their ‘insta-famous’ dog who stole the show with his bow-tie.

The ceremony at St Edwards of the Riverina was meant to be outside under a nice big gum tree. Unfortunately there were some pretty dark clouds coming along so it was moved inside the reception marquee. We later took advantage of the dark clouds and created some dark and moody bridal photos. Inside the Marquee is just as nice though so everyone was happy.

There are lots of good options for photos at St Edwards and we shot a few photos there later in the night. But for the main bridal photos, we drove down the road a bit to an old farmhouse and fig tree. It’s a pretty popular spot for couples to go from St Edwards and I wanted to put my own spin on it. I involved the car here and shot some nice arty angles. We used the fig tree, an old flatbed truck and of course the dark clouds. I kept it nice and relaxed for everyone with lots of fun and joking around.

As usual I took Lindsay and Nathan out at night for another little photo session. It’s a nice chance for my couples to take a breather from the wedding and adds something different to their photos.
